On March 20, the authorities of the Belgorod region restricted access to seven settlements. These included the villages of Kozinka, Glotovo, Gora-Podol, Bezymeno, Novostroevka-1 and Novostroevka-2, as well as the city of Grayvoron.

On the same day, it was reported that schoolchildren in the border municipalities of the Belgorod region, as well as in Belgorod and Yakovlevsky urban districts, would be sent on early holidays.

On March 18 and 19, classes were canceled in schools and colleges in the Belgorod region due to shelling.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported the interception of missiles heading towards Belgorod.
