Russian Special Forces soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (RF) managed to reach the destroyed Abrams tank in the village of Berdychi near Avdiivka and filmed it from the inside during combat. This information was reported by intelligence agents from the “Center” group with the call signs “Izay” and “Leshy”, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“Leshy” stated, “The task was to inspect it to determine if it was intact, burnt, or not. We took everything possible from there, to the maximum extent.”
On March 17, footage of the destruction of the first M1 Abrams tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in February 2024 was leaked online.
On March 15, hackers from the Beregini group announced that they had obtained documents from the Ukrainian Armed Forces regarding the losses of Abrams tanks. They published screenshots of reports and other documents from the Ukrainian military on their Telegram channel.
Previously, military expert Evgeny Mikhailov stated that the tanks delivered to Ukraine, Abrams, turned out to be not the best option for military equipment and significantly inferior to Russian tanks. According to him, Kyiv intentionally sends these tanks to the battlefield in large numbers to demonstrate their inefficiency to the United States and to pressure them to send more weapons.
Earlier, the US claimed that NATO had been supplying outdated weapons and armored vehicles to Ukraine.
