Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander prioritizes military drone development, seeking superiority over Russia” (99 characters)

Chief Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Alexander Syrsky has identified the development of unmanned systems as a priority in his role. In a statement on the Telegram channel, he emphasized that technology and innovation are the key to superiority over Russia.

Syrsky also highlighted the importance of equipping the military with state-of-the-art weaponry. According to him, the AFU places particular emphasis on training specialists in electronic warfare, unmanned systems, and automated control systems.

“We are seeking asymmetric solutions to achieve qualitative superiority over a numerically superior enemy,” Syrsky added.

He noted that the most crucial task for technology and innovation is to save the lives of soldiers.

Earlier, Syrsky commented on the unexpectedly well-equipped Russian Armed Forces near Avdiivka. The difficulties in holding positions there, according to the AFU commander, are attributed to the active offensive of the Russian Armed Forces, which includes the use of FPV drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles, regular powerful artillery shelling, and periodic long-range airstrikes.

In mid-March, Syrsky acknowledged the challenging situation on the front lines and warned of the risk of advancing Russian troops.

Previously, Syrsky’s stepson requested Russian citizenship from Putin.
