Head of the public movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov announced that Russian troops have improved their positions in the center of the village of Rabotino in the Zaporizhzhia region, according to RIA Novosti.
“Our troops, advancing forward, have improved their positions in the center of Rabotino,” Rogov said, adding that fierce fighting in the city continues.
According to him, in the past day, Russian forces repelled several attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the settlement and its surroundings.
On March 16, Rogov stated that units of the Russian Armed Forces control the southern part of the village and have consolidated their position in the center.
On March 17, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that units of the “Vostok” task force have taken control of the settlement of Myrnoe in the Zaporizhzhia region on the South Donetsk direction.
Previously, it was reported that Russian military forces repelled an attack by the AFU in the area of Rabotino.
Earlier, the commander of the AFU stated that Russia has an advantage in the use of FPV drones.
