In a shocking incident at Walt Disney World, a man from Kentucky has been arrested after a 10-year-old boy caught him recording him over a bathroom stall. Clayton Snider, 22, has been charged with felony video voyeurism and was booked into the Orange County Jail. The incident took place at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, where the boy’s family was having dinner.
According to the affidavit from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the boy excused himself to go to the restroom and returned to the table whispering to his father about a strange man taking photos of him over the top of the stall. The boy and his father went back to the bathroom where the 10-year-old identified Snider and pointed him out to his father. Snider was described as “not using the restroom, but just standing there” by the affidavit.
When confronted by the boy’s father, Snider repeatedly denied taking photos of the boy. However, another family member approached Snider and asked him to hand over his phone, which had a Lilo and Stitch case. Snider fiddled with his phone for a few minutes, potentially deleting evidence, before handing it over. The incident was recorded on the family member’s device.
Police were called to the scene, and Snider was still in the restaurant with his family when they arrived. Snider denied the allegations but consented to the police unlocking his phone. Hidden and deleted photo albums were discovered, containing a video of the young boy sitting on the toilet in the bathroom stall with his pants down. Snider’s phone died shortly after the police viewed the footage, and he refused to unlock his Apple Watch.
Snider has since been released on a $5,000 bond. It is a disturbing case that highlights the need for vigilance and safety measures, even in the happiest place on Earth. The authorities are urging anyone with information related to this incident or any other potential victims to come forward.
