Russian Drone Strikes Ukrainian Sabotage and Intelligence Group Planning to Approach Russian Border

The Ministry of Defense of Russia has reported that a Russian drone has targeted a Ukrainian sabotage and intelligence group that was planning to approach the Russian border.

According to the ministry, the border protection group in the northern part of the settlement of Lukashevka detected a sabotage and intelligence group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) who were preparing a provocation.

“The Russian FPV drone operator struck the sabotage and intelligence group,” the ministry noted.

The ministry clarified that the enemy lost up to eight personnel. Following the strike by the Russian FPV drone, the driver-mechanic of the AFU infantry fighting vehicle fled, leaving behind the wounded.

On Monday, March 18, it became known that the Russian military prevented Ukrainian sabotage and intelligence groups from infiltrating the Russian Federation in the area of Kozinka.

Prior to this, the air defense units intercepted an attempt by the AFU to carry out a terrorist attack on targets in the Belgorod region. A total of 10 Ukrainian rocket projectiles were successfully neutralized in the region.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense listed the losses of the AFU in the Donetsk direction.
