Scientific and Production Association “Kaysant” has developed a dome suppression station for FPV drones called K-1000, designed to protect any armored vehicles and automobiles. Alena Balandina, the director of development at the company, shared this information in an interview with RIA Novosti.
“The company has developed a dome-type suppressor for FPV drones called K-1000, designed to be installed on vehicles such as cars, tanks, and armored personnel carriers,” she said.
This electronic warfare system is compact, weighing only two kilograms, and is designed in the form of a suitcase, making it easy to install.
Balandina added that this system “disables” enemy drones in the two frequency ranges in which FPV drones operate – 800 and 900 megahertz.
On March 17, Russian air defense forces neutralized two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the sky over the Belgorod region.
The Ministry of Defense reported that these were aircraft-type drones. The operation to eliminate the unmanned aircraft took place in the sky over the Belgorod region.
Earlier, air defense systems in the Kaluga region successfully shot down a drone.
