Kursk Region on High Alert as Attack Threat Looms: Governor Warns of Drone Strikes and Power Outages

Rocket danger mode has been declared in the Kursk region. This was announced by the governor of the region, Roman Starovoit, in his official Telegram channel.

“Kursk region: danger of UAV attack,” he wrote.

According to the information from the regional governor, air defense systems (ADS) are already in full combat readiness to repel a potential attack. Local residents are recommended to be vigilant and cautious.

Shortly before this, the Kursk governor reported on the shelling of the village of Tetkino by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). According to him, as a result of the Ukrainian shelling, a power line was damaged and the power supply was disrupted. Restoration work will begin when the safety of emergency crews is ensured. According to the governor’s information, as a result of the AFU shelling, damage was recorded in five residential houses.

The day before, Starovoit stated that Russian ADS had shot down two Ukrainian drones overnight.

Earlier, the head of the Kursk region announced the cancellation of the rocket danger mode.
