Russian Governor Reports Drone Shot Down and Damage from Ukrainian Shelling in Belgorod Region

Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov of the Belgorod region announced in his Telegram channel that the territorial self-defense forces of the region have shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle of an aircraft type.

According to him, it was shot down in the area of the Maslova Pristan settlement.

Gladkov also spoke about the situation in Belgorod and the Belgorod region after the morning shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, various damages were recorded in 106 apartments of 22 multi-storey buildings, one private residential house, a garage, two social facilities, and two economic entities in the city of Belgorod. He noted that 64 cars were damaged.

In addition, Gladkov announced that shopping centers in Belgorod and the Belgorod region will not be operating on March 17 and 18. He also stated that there will be no classes in colleges and schools on March 18 and 19.
