The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that the Ukrainian adversary has been defeated in the regions bordering the Belgorod and Kursk regions.
It is noted that attacks have been repelled and attempts to penetrate Russian territory by sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRG) from the settlement of Popovka in the Sumy region, as well as in the direction of the settlements of Spodaryushino and Kozinka in the Belgorod region, have been thwarted.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) amounted to up to 30 servicemen, three tanks, two combat armored vehicles, the Vampire multiple rocket launcher system, and the Grad multiple rocket launcher system.
Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that on March 14, the AFU fighters attempted to establish a presence in the village of Kozinka in the Belgorod region but were blocked. According to the agency, the saboteurs arrived at the Russian border on two Mi-8 helicopters and then covertly advanced onto Russian territory, but they were discovered. The Russian Armed Forces used artillery and aviation to eliminate the enemy. Vyacheslav Gladkov, the Governor of the Belgorod region, stated that the residents of Kozinka were evacuated, but the damage to the village is very severe.
Earlier, Putin responded to the attacks by saboteurs.
