The Ministry of Defense of Russia has reported in its Telegram channel about the interception of an attempted terrorist attack by Ukrainian troops on objects located on Russian territory.
According to the statement, at around 9:00 am Moscow time, air defense forces successfully shot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle over the Belgorod region.
Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense had reported that air defense forces had destroyed two Ukrainian drones in the region.
The ministry also announced the interception of eight projectiles from the RM-70 “Vampire” multiple rocket launcher over the Belgorod region. It was clarified that the shelling from the RM-70 “Vampire” took place around 8:00 am Moscow time. It was previously reported that Russian air defense forces had shot down eight drones from the Ukrainian Armed Forces overnight in the Belgorod and Kursk regions.
Governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, reported that air defense forces had destroyed a reactive unmanned aircraft of the “Strizh” aircraft type belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the territory of the Bryansk region.
Earlier, President Putin commented on the attacks by the Ukrainian side.
