Russian Defense Ministry Regains Control Over Kozinka Village, Exposing Ukrainian Diversionary Group – Massive Losses for Ukrainian Forces

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has announced the complete restoration of control over the village of Kozinka in the Belgorod region. The corresponding publication was made in the ministry’s Telegram channel.

“The area was cleared of a sabotage and reconnaissance group,” the ministry said.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the saboteurs attempted to secretly infiltrate the village, but were discovered and stopped by the Russian Armed Forces units, together with the border authorities of the FSB of Russia.

It is emphasized that all attempts by Ukrainian militants to break through to the territory of the Belgorod and Kursk regions of Russia have been suppressed, with the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounting to 1,500 people (including 1,000 wounded), 18 tanks, and 23 armored personnel carriers.

On March 14, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the repulsion of an attack by a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group. There have been reports of battles in the area of the village of Spodaryushino in the Belgorod region and in the area of Tetkino in the Kursk region.

Earlier, Zelensky’s office threatened Russia with retaliation for the explosions in Ukraine.
