On Thursday, March 14th, shooting exercises will be held in Novorossiysk. The city administration announced this in its Telegram channel.
According to the information provided, the exercises will take place from 21:00 to 23:00 Moscow time in the waters of the Novorossiysk seaport. They will be conducted by the forces of the Novorossiysk Naval Base.
On March 12th, it became known that military naval exercises of Russia, Iran, and China, called “Maritime Security Belt-2024,” have begun in the Gulf of Oman.
The maneuvers involve military personnel and ships from the naval fleets and forces of the three countries. From Russia, the combat ships of the Pacific Fleet, including the Guards missile cruiser “Varyag” and the frigate “Marshal Shaposhnikov,” are participating.
The main goal of the exercises is stated to be the practice of protecting maritime economic activities.
During the exercises, Russian, Iranian, and Chinese military ships will conduct joint maneuvers and shooting at surface and air targets, as well as practice scenarios for the liberation of a pirate-seized vessel.
Earlier in the US, it was stated that the attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Crimea will not lead to success on the battlefield.
