The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that on March 14, at around 16:00 Moscow time, an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) to attack Russian territory using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was intercepted.
It is noted that the Ukrainian UAV was destroyed by air defense systems over the territory of the Oryol region.
Prior to this, the Governor of the Oryol region, Andrey Klychkov, confirmed that a drone was shot down in the region on March 14. The Russian Ministry of Defense had previously reported the attack by the Ukrainian UAV on the Oryol region. The ministry specified that the incident occurred at around 13:20 Moscow time. The drone was destroyed by Russian air defense systems.
The Ministry of Defense also reported that air defense systems detected and destroyed a UAV of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the territory of the Belgorod region.
