Russian forces have foiled another attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) to break through into Russian territory near the town of Spodaryushino in the Belgorod region. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
“Up to 195 servicemen were eliminated,” noted the Russian defense department.
At the same time, the Ukrainian army lost five tanks, four armored combat vehicles, three self-propelled demining installations UR-77, and three engineering barrier machines.
Earlier, it was reported that units of the Russian National Guard participated in repelling the attack of Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRG) near the town of Tetkino in the Kursk region.
Prior to this, the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, stated that Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups continue to attempt to penetrate the region’s territory. According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) do not cease their attempts to enter the region with their DRGs near the settlement of Tetkino. He also urged the residents of the region not to spread unverified information and to remain vigilant.
