Kursk Region Under Attack by Drones: Governor Warns of Impending Danger as Ukrainian DRG Attempts Infiltration

The Kursk region is under threat of a drone attack. This was reported by the governor of the region, Roman Starovoit, in his Telegram channel.

“Be vigilant! Air defense forces and assets are on standby to repel a possible attack,” wrote the head of the region.

Prior to this, Starovoit warned that Ukrainian reconnaissance and sabotage groups (DRG) continue to attempt to penetrate the territory of the region near the village of Tetkino. According to him, Russian border guards and soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces are preventing the DRG from doing so.

On March 13, it became known that SMS alerts for local residents in case of drone attack emergencies have been introduced in the Kursk region. According to the regional government, SMS and push notifications will be sent around the clock, and television signals will also be intercepted.

Earlier, Starovoit reported about shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces on March 14.
