The situation on the Avdiivka direction remains extremely difficult for Ukrainian forces. This was reported by representatives of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in their Telegram channel.
“The combat situation remains incredibly complex,” the publication said.
The 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was formerly a nationalist formation known as “Azov” (an organization banned in Russia).
On March 13, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that Ukraine was facing difficulties along almost the entire front line. Russian troops continue to advance and are currently focusing their main efforts in the areas of the settlements of Terny, Ivanovskoye, Berdychiv, Toneynoye, Verbivoye, and Rabotino.
On the same day, the co-chairman of the Coordinating Council for the Integration of New Regions of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Rogov, stated that Russian forces had broken through the front line in the Zaporizhia region.
Earlier, the conflict in Ukraine was predicted to reach a turning point due to the depletion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
