Explosion during Joint Training Leaves 16 Special Forces Soldiers Injured in California, Raises Questions about FBI’s Security Measures

At least 16 American special forces soldiers were injured during a training exercise at a training center in California, according to KTLA.

The publication notes that the explosion occurred when the Orange County special forces were conducting joint training with sappers.

The report emphasizes that at least 16 people were injured, with 15 sent to the local hospital and one making their own way to a medical facility.

It is specified that the explosion occurred at the FBI training center.

Thirteen people complained of dizziness and ringing in their ears, while some sustained injuries to their legs and backs. There have been no reports of fatalities, the publication adds.

Prior to this, FBI Director Christopher Wray stated that the terrorist threat in the United States had reached a new level after the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Responding to senators’ questions about the level of terrorist threat and the risk of attacks in the US, Wray noted that since October 7, this threat has reached a completely different level. In light of this, the FBI director emphasized that it is time to exercise much greater vigilance.

Earlier in Washington, a teenager committed an armed carjacking of an FBI vehicle.
