The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that the Armed Forces of Russia have destroyed two Mi-8 helicopters in the Donetsk People’s Republic. According to the ministry, the aircraft were shot down in the area of Novopavlovka. Additionally, through the use of drones, missile forces, artillery, and aviation, a workshop for repairing military equipment and weapons in the Balakleya area of the Kharkiv region was also hit.

It is worth noting that since the beginning of the conflict, Russian forces have managed to shoot down 269 helicopters, 577 airplanes, 15,362 drones, destroy 485 anti-aircraft missile systems, 15,464 tanks and other armored vehicles, 1,238 multiple rocket launchers, 8,397 artillery pieces and mortars, as well as 19,709 vehicles.

Prior to this, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Armed Forces improved their position on the Avdiivka front. They successfully repelled 12 counterattacks from Ukrainian army assault groups. The battles took place in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Kirove, Berdychiv, Orlivka, and Toneynke in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense listed the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Donetsk front.
