Co-chair of the Coordinating Council for the Integration of New Regions of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Rogov, has stated that Russian troops have broken through the front line in the Zaporizhia region. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to Rogov, this refers to the Orehovskiy direction, the area near the village of Rabotino, and the Vremevskiy direction.
“Our guys managed to break through the front line in several areas in the Zaporizhia region… and consolidate their positions at the enemy’s strongholds,” he explained.
Rogov added that several defense lines are actively being constructed behind the line of contact with the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU): reinforced concrete structures are being dug to a depth of three to four meters, trenches and anti-tank ditches are being dug, and communication corridors are being established.
Prior to this, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Oleksandr Syrsky, stated that Ukraine is facing difficulties along the entire length of the contact line.
Earlier, the Commander of the AFU stated that Russia has an advantage in the use of FPV drones.
