Tracked skidder tractor TDT-55, equipped with a 57mm anti-aircraft gun AZP-57, was spotted in the area of a special operation. The combat vehicle caught the attention of the Telegram channel “Artillery”.
“The TDT-55 never thought in its life that it would be equipped with a 57mm automatic anti-aircraft gun AZP-57,” the publication states.
According to the information from the source, the tractor was allegedly used by assault squads of the private military company (PMC) “Wagner”. The attached photo clearly shows the gun attached to the machine.
It is specified that initially the TDT-55 was developed for hauling and stacking medium and large forests. Thus, the machine with a turbo-diesel engine can be used for work in difficult forest conditions.
Some time ago, the Ministry of Defense reported that Russian troops have destroyed at least 40 different types of anti-aircraft missile launchers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and at least 20 air defense radars since the beginning of this year.
Earlier, Sweden supplied Ukraine with anti-aircraft guns from 1932.
