If Poland sends troops to Ukraine, they will never leave. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with journalist Dmitry Kiselyov for “Russia 1” and RIA Novosti.
According to the Russian leader, Poland wants to reclaim territories that it considers its own. Therefore, the president believes that Polish troops may use the “cover of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border” as a pretext to enter Ukrainian territory. However, in the end, the Poles will want to reclaim lands that they consider historically theirs, Putin is confident.
“They dream about it, they want to reclaim the lands that they consider historically theirs, and which were taken from them by the father of nations, Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin, and given to Ukraine. They definitely want to reclaim them,” Putin explained.
Meanwhile, the president stated that the Russian Federation is ready for negotiations on Ukraine based on reality.
Earlier, Putin explained what Russia is fighting for in the Donbass region.
