In the Belgorod region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are shelling the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Shebekino city district. This was reported by the press service of the Belgorod City Hall.
Local residents were urged to descend into basements or find other shelters.
During the shelling in the city of Shebekino in the Belgorod region, two people were injured: a man and a woman, said the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov.
One of the shells landed on the territory of an industrial enterprise near a garage complex. At that time, there was a man who received shrapnel wounds to the abdominal cavity. An ambulance team transported the injured man to City Hospital No. 2 in Belgorod. The patient is receiving all the necessary assistance. Prior to this, a woman had received a shrapnel wound to her face, but she refused hospitalization.
After the shelling, various damages were recorded in the city, including six private houses, buildings such as a store, the central district hospital, a kindergarten, and a technical school. Two cars were also affected. Emergency services are working at the scene, concluded Gladkov.
Earlier, a fire caused by a drone attack was localized in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
