Rocket Danger Declared in Voronezh Region, Residents Urged to Seek Shelter – Attacks by Drones Continue

Rocket Danger Declared in Voronezh Region

Voronezh, Russia – In a startling announcement, the governor of Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, declared a state of rocket danger in the area. Gusev took to his Telegram channel to alert residents about the imminent threat.

“Attention, the region is now under rocket danger!” he wrote.

Gusev urged residents who are currently at home to take cover in windowless rooms with solid walls, such as hallways, bathrooms, or storerooms.

“If you are outside, seek refuge in the nearest building or suitable shelter,” added the head of Voronezh region.

This announcement comes after the entire territory of Belgorod region was also declared under rocket danger earlier on March 12.

During the night of March 12, authorities in seven regions of the Russian Federation reported attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles. In Belgorod region, a drone dropped four explosive devices, causing damage to a power transmission line. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov stated that several towns were left without electricity following the attack.

Earlier, air defense systems successfully intercepted projectiles from the Vampire multiple rocket launcher system and a “Tochka-U” missile over Belgorod region.

The situation remains tense as authorities work diligently to ensure the safety and security of the affected regions. Investigations are underway to determine the source and motive behind these attacks.
