Several settlements in the Shebekino urban district in the Belgorod region have come under attack from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the region’s governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, in his Telegram channel.
According to preliminary data, no one was injured, the official wrote. However, in the city of Shebekino, several windows were shattered in two apartment buildings as a result of the Ukrainian drone falling and detonating.
A projectile also damaged a power transmission line in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka.
Gladkov assured that operational and emergency services have arrived at the scene. The reconnaissance of the territories is ongoing.
According to the information from the Russian Ministry of Defense, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 25 AFU drones over Russian regions on the night of March 12: two drones over the Moscow region, one over the Leningrad region, seven over the Belgorod region, eleven over the Kursk region, one over the Bryansk region, one over the Tula region, and two over the Oryol region.
