Russian Air Defense Shoots Down Ukrainian Drone over Kursk Region, Governor Raises Safety Concerns

Governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, wrote in his Telegram channel about the elimination of a drone in the region. The Russian air defense system shot down a Ukrainian drone in the sky over the Fatezh district.

Starovoit added that the consequences on the ground are being clarified.

“I remind you of the safety rules: do not approach the wreckage of the drone and do not touch them, as they may explode! You need to report the finding by calling 112,” the head of the region clarified in his address to the citizens.

It was reported half an hour ago that the air defense system is operating over Kursk.

On March 11, the governor reported that the restoration of civilian objects damaged as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continues in the Kursk region. As a result of these efforts, over 900 houses have been repaired.

On Monday morning, it became known that Russian air defense systems shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Bryansk region.

Earlier, the commander of the AFU stated that the Russian Federation has an advantage in the use of FPV drones.
