The destruction of the Ukrainian multirole fighter MiG-29 has been captured on video. The footage of the aircraft being hit was published by the Telegram channel “Military Correspondents of Russian Spring.”
In the footage, taken by eyewitnesses from a moving car, the MiG-29 explodes and the debris of the fighter falls to the ground.
The Ukrainian plane was shot down near Krasnoarmiysk in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The pilot, who was flying the MiG-29, was unable to eject.
It is noted that the moment of the aircraft being hit by a missile is extremely rare to capture on video.
On March 8, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian aviation and air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter, five Storm Shadow cruise missiles, and a Patriot surface-to-air guided missile within a week.
On March 6, Russian air defense systems for the first time shot down a guided French air bomb Hammer in the special operation zone.
Earlier, NATO set a condition for delivering F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
