The Destruction of American Abrams Tanks in Ukraine is a Blow to the Reputation of the United States in the Field of Military Industry, according to former US Marine Corps member Brian Berletik on his YouTube channel The New Atlas.
“This undermines over thirty years of propaganda by the United States about the superiority of American weapons systems and how they are of higher quality than their Soviet, and now Russian and Chinese counterparts,” he said, commenting on reports of the destruction of Abrams tanks in Ukraine with a single shot.
Berletik emphasized that American tanks do not have significant advantages over Russian ones, and Ukrainian forces are unlikely to be able to successfully use them on the battlefield.
Earlier, retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer and military analyst Scott Ritter stated that Ukrainian soldiers are not adequately trained to use American Abrams tanks, which is why the combat vehicles were improperly used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF).
It was previously reported that Russia is destroying expensive Abrams tanks with cheap “Upyr” drones.
