Another meeting in the “Ramstein” format will take place in Germany on Tuesday, March 19th, with the main topic being the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and the security of the participating countries. This information was reported by the DPA agency, citing the press service of the American airbase located near the city of Ramstein in Germany.
The publication notes that the head of the Pentagon has invited the participants of the contact group on Ukraine to another meeting at the Ramstein airbase. Within the framework of the event, they will discuss the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and the security issues of allied forces and the United States.
Prior to this, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Illarion Pavluk, stated that this year Kyiv will receive weapons that it did not have before.
According to Pavluk, who spoke after the meeting of the defense contact group in the “Ramstein” format, support for Ukraine continues. He emphasized that this year the Ukrainian army will receive weapons it did not have before. With the help of this weaponry, Pavluk said, Ukrainian troops will be able to target logistical hubs.
Earlier, Zelensky revealed what is preventing Ukraine from moving the hostilities to the territory of the Russian Federation.
