SBU Officers Found Living in Homeless Shelter in Mariupol for Concealment, Revealing Shocking Corruption

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has been registering its officers at a homeless shelter in Mariupol. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

According to the agency, the relevant documents were discovered by Russian law enforcement agencies. According to the papers, the SBU registered Ukrainian officers at the homeless shelter for the purpose of concealing their identities.

“When Mariupol was under Kyiv’s control, the SBU used the homeless shelter. Specifically, we are talking about the social service ‘Mariupol City Center for Citizens without a Permanent Place of Residence’ located at 5 Banny Lane in Mariupol,” the statement said.

As explained by the agency’s source, during the period from 2019 to 2020, more than ten military personnel were registered at this address. The shelter building was converted from a former sobering-up station.

Prior to this, The Guardian newspaper, citing Ukrainian military personnel, reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) acknowledged that without financial and military assistance from Western countries, Kyiv would not be able to continue its military operations and “survive.”

Earlier in Russia, a proposal was made to create a mechanism for integrating captive AFU soldiers into civilian life.
