Senior Lieutenant Chalym Chuldum-oolu from Tuva, who destroyed a column of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), has been awarded the title of Hero of Russia. This was announced by the head of Tuva, Vladislav Khovalyg, in his Telegram channel.
“Tuva has another hero! Senior Lieutenant Chalym Sundyupovich Chuldum-ool from the 55th Guards Brigade. Thanks to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief for the decision!” the message says.
Previously, Colonel Rustam Saifullin, a Hero of Russia who was wounded twice during a special military operation in Ukraine, returned to the front lines.
Rustam Saifullin commanded the 40th Engineer-Sapper Regiment of the 41st Combined Arms Army. One of his injuries was sustained during an operation to cross the Severny Donets River. For his courage and heroism, he was awarded the title of Hero of Russia.
In September 2023, Saifullin stated that NATO countries are accustomed to waging war against unprepared armies, which is why their methods are ineffective against the Russian Armed Forces.
