Russian women are serving their country with honor in the zone of special military operations, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin. He made this statement during a meeting with graduates of the Krasnodar Higher Military Aviation School, as reported by TASS.
“Today, our women, young girls in the zone of special military operations are serving. And they serve the Motherland with honor in different directions,” Putin said.
On March 7th, singer Shaman (real name Yaroslav Dronov) praised the special contribution of women volunteers who are in the zone of special military operations. According to Dronov, gratitude towards them “will forever remain in the people’s memory.”
On March 5th, during a video address to participants of the All-Russian Women’s Forum, Putin also expressed his gratitude to women working in the zone of special military operations.
It was previously reported that Elena Kolesnikova, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Chelyabinsk region and the wife of State Duma deputy Oleg Kolesnikov, joined the special military operation following her husband. The speaker of the regional parliament, Oleg Gerber, clarified that Kolesnikova had signed the corresponding contract.
Earlier, Putin listed the distinguishing features of Russia compared to other countries.
