Air raid sirens have been activated in two regions of Ukraine, according to an official notification issued to the public. The affected areas are Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv.
On the same day, damage to infrastructure was reported in parts of the Zaporizhzhia region that are under Kyiv’s control, following an air raid alert.
In addition, critical infrastructure and port facilities were damaged in areas controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kherson region. The city of Kherson itself experienced hits on its port infrastructure. It is worth noting that no air raid alert was issued in the region during the night.
The Russian Federation’s armed forces have been targeting Ukrainian infrastructure since October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which was orchestrated by Ukrainian intelligence agencies. These attacks have targeted energy facilities, defense industry sites, military command centers, and communication networks throughout the country. As a result, air raid alerts have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, and sometimes even nationwide.
Previously, in the western region of Ukraine, specifically in Khmelnytskyi, an explosion caused damage to an infrastructure facility.
