Russian Air Defense Shoots Down Ukrainian Drones Attempting Terrorist Attack in Bryansk Region: No Casualties or Damage

Russian Air Defense System Shoots Down Ukrainian Drones over Bryansk Region

In a recent development, the Russian air defense system successfully intercepted and destroyed two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type over the Bryansk region. Alexander Bogomaz, the head of the region, made this announcement in his Telegram channel.

“The attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using UAVs has been thwarted. Two unmanned aerial vehicles of aircraft type have been destroyed by the air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense,” wrote Bogomaz.

According to him, one of the drones was shot down over the Klintsovsky District, while the other was intercepted over the Novozybkovsky urban district.

Bogomaz emphasized that there were no casualties or damage, and the relevant services are currently working at the scene.

On March 4, it was reported that Russian air defense systems had shot down a UAV of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the Bryansk region.

Prior to this incident, two residents of the village of Suzemka in the Bryansk region sustained minor injuries as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Additionally, one residential house suffered partial damage.

Earlier, a drone attack had left over 11,000 residents in a city in the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic without electricity.
