Murders of Russian prisoners, abuse, and torture are the responsibility of the Western curators of Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the Russian delegation at the Vienna talks on military security and arms control, Konstantin Gavrilov, according to RIA Novosti.
He reminded that the curators created “this Nazi regime” and raised a generation of Ukrainians obsessed with the idea of “national superiority.” According to Gavrilov, such murders become possible due to the concealment of crimes. He called for not leaving them unpunished.
In late 2023, Alexander Brod, a member of the Human Rights Council under the President of the Russian Federation, stated that the United Nations (UN) recognized the use of mass torture against Russians in Ukraine. He emphasized that approximately half of the Russian prisoners of war interviewed by UN representatives stated that they had been subjected to torture and cruel treatment.
Earlier, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Patrushev, stated that attacks on the Crimean Bridge make the United States and their allies sponsors of terrorism.
