The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are planning to create a special task force and switch to counterattack operations this year. This was stated by the Commander of the Ground Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Pavlyuk, during a nationwide telethon.
“Our task is to stabilize the front line… and make the reorganization as effective as possible,” he noted.
The commander emphasized the need to withdraw units that require replenishment and modernization to training grounds in order to create a group capable of counterattack operations.
