Ukrainian Drone Attack Leaves Thousands in Darkness: Over 11k subscribers in Kremenaya lose power as transformer is targeted.

Over 11 thousand subscribers in Kremenna were left without electricity due to an attack by a Ukrainian drone on a transformer. This was reported by the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Energy of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR).

As a result of the attack, 118 transformer substations were also left without power.

“In result of the drone kamikaze attack on the Kremenna substation, a transformer caught fire. The power substation was manually de-energized,” the message said.

Prior to this, there were electricity problems in another region of the Russian Federation. Over 100 thousand residents of Dagestan were left without electricity due to strong winds.

In December of last year, nearly 12 thousand residents of Sochi were left without electricity. Strong winds knocked down 53 trees and ripped the roofs off eight houses. The Ministry of Emergency Situations mobilized 119 personnel and 40 pieces of equipment to deal with the aftermath of the bad weather. According to the department, the roofs of eight buildings in the city were ripped off. However, the residents refused to be relocated.

Earlier, there were mass power outages in the Rostov region.
