At the end of April and the beginning of May, the initiative in the military conflict in Ukraine will completely shift to the Russian army. This was stated by Polish General Boguslaw Patek, quoted by RMF FM.
According to him, it is during this time that weather conditions will be more favorable for the advancement of Russian forces. The general also noted that the assistance provided by Western countries to Ukraine is insufficient to counter the Russian Armed Forces.
Patek emphasized that Russia has a significant advantage along the entire front line. He pointed out that currently the Russian Army is not even operating at full capacity.
Prior to this, the American magazine Newsweek reported that without military assistance to Ukraine from Western countries, the initiative in the conflict will definitively shift to Russia. The publication noted that after gaining control over Avdiivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Russian forces have maintained their offensive momentum and continue to achieve success on the battlefield.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense stated that Russia, during the military exercise, will demilitarize NATO countries.
