Soldiers from the Tula Guards Airborne Division repelled an attempt by several Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) groups to approach Russian positions on the Northern front. Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported this to journalists from RIA Novosti.
After conducting reconnaissance, including the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, movements of UAF armed groups were detected in the forested areas near the advanced positions of Russian troops.
The coordinates of the enemy were transmitted to the command post, and the crew of the 30-mm automatic grenade launcher AGS-17 “Flame” successfully launched a fire strike, forcing the Ukrainian soldiers to retreat and return to their original area.
