Russian Forces Push Ukrainian Troops Back in Zaporizhia Region, Governor Says Situation Stable

The situation on the contact line in the Zaporizhia region is currently stable. This was announced by the governor of the region, Yevgeny Balitsky, according to RIA Novosti.

According to him, the Zaporizhia front is “moving slowly,” but the Armed Forces of Russia are “pushing back” Ukrainian troops from the cities of the region.

“The enemy is still shelling the Zaporizhia region, compensating for their failures on the front by targeting infrastructure and social objects. But for us, these are not problems, but tasks that we understand as necessary for the restoration of peaceful life,” the official continued.

He also said that the situation in the region as a whole is “much better” than it was a year ago, with residents returning to their homes and Russian armed forces being much better equipped.

Earlier, Balitsky stated that Russian artillery dominates the Zaporizhia front over Ukrainian military forces. According to him, this refers to clashes in the areas of the settlements of Rabotino and Verbovo.

Earlier in the US, they revealed how the conflict in Ukraine will end.
