Ukrainian Command Moves Abrams Tanks to Avdiivka, Three Destroyed
In a recent development, the Ukrainian command has relocated at least five Abrams tanks to the Avdiivka region, three of which have already been destroyed. This information was reported by the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, to the RIA Novosti news agency.
Pushilin noted that Western propaganda has exaggerated the importance of these tanks, comparing them to a demonstration of Russian military power.
“The Ministry of Defense has indeed confirmed the destruction of three tanks. According to our information, at least five tanks were transferred to the Avdiivka region. As for how many of these three destroyed tanks we managed to evacuate to our territory, I do not know yet,” said Pushilin at the World Youth Festival.
Assessing the effectiveness of the Abrams tanks, the head of the DPR mentioned that “Western propaganda has probably overestimated them.” “Our fighters can demonstrate it now – as they did before, in previous stages of special operations involving other Western equipment, which was also greatly exaggerated,” he reminded.
Pushilin called the Abrams tank not entirely useless and confirmed that it does pose a threat. However, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have repeatedly demonstrated their ability to handle such challenges, concluded the head of the DPR.
