Russian Units Destroy British-Made Stormer Air Defense System in Ukraine

In the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Russian units have successfully destroyed the Stormer air defense system, a British-made weapon. This development was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

According to the military’s statement, the combat operations took place near the village of Vodyane in the Donetsk People’s Republic and near Malynivka in the Zaporizhia region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ 102nd and 128th territorial defense brigades were engaged in combat against the Russian army.

The Ministry of Defense stated, “The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to up to 230 servicemen, two tanks, two combat armored vehicles, six vehicles, the ‘Msta-B’ howitzer, and also the British-made Stormer air defense system.”

Prior to this incident, the Russian Ministry of Defense had reported that on March 5th, at approximately 12:30 Moscow time, they had intercepted an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to launch an attack using a drone aircraft.

It is worth noting that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had previously shelled a railway station in the Kursk region.
