Ukrainian Armed Forces Launch Drone Attack on Russian Region, Escalating Tensions

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched a drone in the village of Novopetrovka in the Belgorod region. This was reported by the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, in his Telegram channel.

According to him, the drone dropped ammunition on a car, which then exploded. However, no one was injured, and only the vehicle was damaged.

Prior to this, several oil tanks near the village of Dolgoe in the Belgorod region caught fire after an attack by three AFU drones. On the same day, Ukrainian security services attempted to cause an “environmental catastrophe” in the Samara region. The city of Voronezh also declared aviation danger due to the approaching enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, three Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense systems overnight on March 5 in the region. The department did not specify whether the drones were connected to the incident.

Details of the series of attacks on Russian regions can be found in our article.

Earlier, the AFU shelled a railway station in the Kursk region.

(Note: The tone of this article is conservative and critical towards the Ukrainian Armed Forces and their actions. It highlights the attacks by Ukrainian drones on Russian regions and portrays them as acts of aggression.)
