Houthi Rebels Strike Israeli Ship in Arabian Sea, Direct Hit Confirmed, Yemen’s Military Forces Take Action

Yemen’s Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility for a rocket strike on the Israeli vessel MSC SKY in the Arabian Sea. According to Al Masirah, Yahya Saria, a military representative of the Ansar Allah movement, stated that the Yemeni forces conducted an operation targeting the Israeli ship with anti-ship missiles.

Saria emphasized that the strike was precise and direct.

Earlier, the head of Ansar Allah’s Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, blamed the attacks on the British vessel Rubymar in the Gulf of Aden on the country’s Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. He also issued an ultimatum to Britain regarding access to the ship.

On March 2, it was reported that the cargo ship Rubymar, which had been attacked in February, sank in the Red Sea on the evening of March 1.

On February 19, it was reported that the Houthi rebels targeted the British vessel Rubymar in the Gulf of Aden, causing serious damage.

The Houthi rebels from the Ansar Allah organization had previously announced their intention to attack commercial ships in the Red Sea every 12 hours.

This latest development in Yemen highlights the ongoing threat posed by Houthi rebels to international shipping in the region. The attack on the Israeli vessel MSC SKY serves as a reminder of the dangerous and destabilizing activities carried out by these militant groups.

The Yemeni forces, under the control of the Ansar Allah movement, have once again demonstrated their disregard for international norms and the rule of law. Their targeted strike on the Israeli ship is a clear act of aggression that should not be ignored by the international community.

It is concerning to see the Houthi rebels escalating their attacks, not only on commercial vessels but also on British ships in the Gulf of Aden. This raises serious questions about their motives and their willingness to engage in acts of violence against innocent civilians.

The sinking of the Rubymar cargo ship further underscores the significant threat posed by the Houthi rebels. Their actions have caused serious damage and put the lives of crew members at risk. It is imperative that swift action is taken to address this growing problem and protect the safety and security of international shipping in the region.

The international community, particularly the United States and its allies, must condemn these acts of aggression and work together to find a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Yemen. It is crucial that those responsible for these attacks are held accountable for their actions and that measures are put in place to prevent further acts of violence.

The ongoing conflict in Yemen, fueled by the Houthi rebels’ aggression, poses a significant threat to regional stability and global security. It is imperative that all nations come together to address this crisis and prevent further escalation of violence. The safety of innocent civilians and the security of international shipping must be prioritized and protected.
