Ukraine President Zelensky Shakes Up Military Leadership: Is this the Solution to Ukraine’s Struggles?” (95 characters)

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has replaced the commander of the Armed Forces Support Units of the country (AFSU). This was reported on the website of the President of Ukraine.

According to Zelensky’s decree, Alexander Yakovets will be appointed as the new commander of the AFSU, replacing Dmitry Gereh who was dismissed.

Previously, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Alexander Syrskiy, stated that the problems faced by the Ukrainian troops in the eastern direction are the fault of brigade commanders.

According to him, it primarily depends on the level of training of the brigade commander, their experience, as well as their ability to make informed decisions and understand the full extent of responsibility for carrying out assigned tasks.

According to Syrskiy’s statement, specialist groups have been sent to brigades where problems with staff training have been observed in order to share experience and provide assistance.

Political analyst Oleg Ivannikov expressed the opinion that Syrskiy will be blamed for all failures and replaced. He reminded that Syrskiy’s Russian origin is one of the reasons for his low popularity in the AFU.

Earlier, Zelensky mentioned the obstacles that prevent Ukraine from transferring military operations to the territory of the Russian Federation.

President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has made a change in the command structure of the Armed Forces Support Units (AFSU), as reported on the official website of the Ukrainian President.

According to Zelensky’s decree, Alexander Yakovets has been appointed as the new commander of the AFSU, replacing Dmitry Gereh who was relieved of his duties.
