The German Ministry of Defense has published a press release on its website regarding the wiretapping of German officers and protected it with the password “1234,” which was also indicated in the publication, according to Bild.

The publication emphasizes that the audio recording of the German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius was posted on the NextCloud platform.

At the end of the publication, the password was mentioned. The publication highlights that the ministry did not specify why they chose this particular format for publication, as press releases on the German Ministry of Defense website are usually publicly accessible and not password protected.

Previously, former deputy of the German Bundestag, Waldemar Herdt, criticized the plans to launch missile strikes on the Crimean Bridge, calling them ill-considered.

On Friday, March 1, the Editor-in-Chief of the media group “Russia Today” and the RT channel, Margarita Simonyan, reported the existence of an audio recording in which high-ranking officers of the German Bundeswehr discussed the possibility of an attack on the bridge. The officers also mentioned US and UK military personnel, implying their direct involvement in the conflict in Ukraine.

Earlier, Pushkov called the leakage of the conversation between Bundeswehr officers a disturbing signal.
