Ukrainian Drones Attack Kursk Region: Civilian Property Damaged, Government Remains Silent

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have shelled the Kursk region, with reports of hits in two districts – Sudzhansky and Korenevsky. This information was reported by the governor of the region, Roman Starovoit, in his Telegram channel.

It is emphasized that no civilians were injured.

“In the village of Gogolevka, one of the shells hit a private enterprise hangar. Tractors and a personal car were damaged. In addition, a shell hit the Oleshnya hamlet, damaging a residential house and cutting off the power line. The villages of Troitskoye and Gordeevka in the Korenevsky district were also shelled,” the official said.

There have been disruptions in the power supply in Troitskoye and window damage in four residential houses. The owners of the affected properties will be provided with assistance in restoring their belongings.

Prior to this, a kamikaze drone from the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a distillery in the Kursk region.

According to the publication, the attack took place on February 16 at around 6:00 p.m. The kamikaze drone fired at the pumping station of the enterprise near the village of Popovo-Lezhachi in the Glushkovsky district, which is located 2.5 km from the Russian-Ukrainian border.

Earlier, the office of President Zelensky threatened Russia with retaliation for the explosions in Ukraine.
