In the South-Donetsk direction, units of the “Vostok” task force dealt a blow to the formations of the 108th Territorial Defense Brigade in the area of the settlement of Lugovskoye in the Zaporizhzhya region. This information was reported to journalists by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the ministry’s data, Russian military forces also repelled a counterattack by the assault group of the 58th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the settlement of Shevchenko in the Zaporizhzhya region.
The ministry noted that the losses of the enemy amounted to up to 190 servicemen, one tank, and four vehicles.
“The following were destroyed: the M777 artillery system produced by the USA, the FH-70 howitzer produced by the United Kingdom, the MT-12 ‘Rapira’ anti-tank gun, as well as the ‘Bukovel-AD’ electronic warfare station,” the statement said.
On February 20, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the losses of the AFU in the Donetsk direction.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the losses of Ukrainian military personnel near Avdiivka.
