Military expert Anatoliy Matviychuk, in an interview with News.ru, revealed that Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) fighters hold a deep hatred towards Russian supersonic interceptor fighter jets, the MiG-31, which are capable of utilizing hypersonic missile “Kinjal”.
He speculated that even the presence of a single MiG-31 within Ukrainian territory is enough to trigger an air alarm among the UAF.
Matviychuk emphasized that Ukrainian air defense systems are unable to track the MiG-31 due to its remarkable speed of up to 2,800 kilometers per hour.
Prior to this, UAF sniper Elena Belozerskaya confessed that Russian drones irritate her and her fellow soldiers. She also highlighted the shifts in today’s battles against Russia compared to the conflicts in 2014 and 2017. The combat operations in 2023 have become more complex, with the nature of warfare evolving.
Another UAF soldier shared the challenging conditions on the frontlines. A video surfaced online featuring a conversation with the wounded soldier’s family, revealing that he was abandoned by his comrades near Avdiivka.
Earlier, reports from the United States indicated that the West is making efforts to prevent the collapse of the UAF.
