Russian air defense systems have foiled an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to carry out a terrorist attack using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the Bryansk region. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the Ministry of Defense, at around 20:40 Moscow time, the Kiev regime’s attempt to carry out a terrorist attack using a UAV on the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted. The drone was shot down over the Bryansk region.
Prior to this, the Ministry of Defense reported that Russian air defense systems had intercepted seven HIMARS rocket projectiles within 24 hours. The Ministry also stated that three HARM anti-radiation missiles, three JDAM guided aviation bombs, and three modified anti-aircraft missiles “S-200” for ground targets were intercepted.
In addition, Russian air defense systems destroyed 47 Ukrainian UAVs in the areas of Kremenna, Zolotarevka, and Karmazinovka in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), Shevchenko in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), as well as Rabotino and Novoukrainskoye in the Zaporizhia region.
Earlier, air defense systems destroyed 14 rocket projectiles over the Belgorod region.
